Warren Teitelbaum co-founded Mattress Discounters,
and as CEO, directed the rapid growth of the company to make
it the nation’s largest mattress retailer before he sold
the business to Heilig-Meyers in 1997.
During his stewardship
of the company, Mr. Teitelbaum used a number of his Mattress
Discounters’ tenancies to acquire and develop properties.
Upon the sale of Mattress Discounters,
Mr. Teitelbaum applied
his considerable retail and development expertise to expanding
his real estate portfolio.
As the co-founder of The Maven Group,
Mr. Teitelbaum directs impaired property lending operations
and retail site acquisition.
